OVERVIEW
On this Latin American adventure, your group will participate in various service activities for low-income families including maintenance projects, food distribution, VBS camps, and more! In addition, be on two continents at once in the Middle of the World Monument, view breathtaking sights on the Teleferico (Sky Tram), and peruse traditional pieces at the markets in Otavalo. The Missions in Quito, Ecuador trip is the perfect blend of service and culture.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
- Arrive and meet your JE Tour Director at Quito’s airport
- Transfer to your hotel
- Dinner based on flight schedule (The majority of the flights arrive late at night)
- Orientation
- Devotions at hotel (If times allows)
DAY 2-4: MINISTRY DAYS
- Breakfast
- Full ministry with JE’s local partners
- Lunch
- Return to Hotel
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 5: ADVENTURE / CULTURE EXPERIENCE
- Breakfast
- Depart to the Middle of the World Monument
- Shopping
- Visit Historical City of Quito
- Lunch
- Teleferico (enjoy the magnificent view from 12,000 feet above sea level of Quito and the surrounding mountains)
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 6: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast
- Depart for airport
OPTIONAL – Make it a 7-Day tour by adding the following cultural experience day!

- Travel to Otavalo
- Lunch at Restaurant Lago Puerto (amazing San Pablo’s lake view)
- Experienced the Otavalo Indians culture, and their marketplace (Shopping)
