OVERVIEW
Travel to one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean and be a part of life change on the Missions in the DR tour. After arriving in the Dominican Republic, your group will participate in serving the local people through various opportunities such as children’s ministry, feeding food, small construction projects, and outreach/evangelism with the local church. In addition to serving, you will spend time in Colonial Santo Domingo experiencing the rich heritage of the city and swimming in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Your group will not want to miss this trip!
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY / ORIENTATION
- Arrive at the airport & meet your JE Tour Director
- Check into your hotel
- Dinner
- Orientation & devotions
DAYS 2-5: MINISTRY DAYS / SANTO DOMINGO
- Breakfast
- Transfer to the local ministry site
- Begin ministry projects & activities
- Lunch with the ministry
- Continue ministry work & activities
- One afternoon/evening will include a tour of Colonial Santo Domingo
- Dinner
- Debrief & devotions
DAY 6: CHURCH SERVICE
- Breakfast
- Worship with a local church
- Lunch
- Transfer to beach for swimming & dinner
- Debrief & devotions
DAY 7: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast
- Transfer to airport
- Fly home after an amazing experience in the DR!
