OVERVIEW
Travel to one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean and be a part of life change on the Missions in the Dominican Republic – Church Build tour. After your arrival, your group will participate in constructing a church/chapel for a local body of believers needing a formal meeting place. Your group will also serve the local people through various service opportunities including children’s ministry, serving meals, and outreach with the local church. In addition to serving, spend time in Colonial Santo Domingo exploring the city’s rich heritage and relaxing on a beach as you swim in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean. Your group will not want to miss this trip!
ITINERARY

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY / ORIENTATION
- Arrive at Santo Domingo airport & meet your JE Tour Director
- Check into your ministry housing
- Dinner
- Orientation & devotions
DAYS 2-5: MINISTRY DAYS
- Breakfast
- Transfer to the local ministry site
- Begin work on the chapel
- Lunch
- Continue work on the chapel (team will also participate in on-site ministry with the local community)
- Dinner
- Debrief & devotions
DAY 6: SANTO DOMINGO
- Breakfast
- Morning tour of Colonial Santo Domingo – tour Fortaleza Ozama & Muestra Señora de la Encarnacion
- Lunch
- Transfer to beach for swimming & dinner
- Debrief & devotions
DAY 7: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast
- Transfer to Airport
- Fly home after an amazing experience in the Dominic Republic
