OVERVIEW
Join us as we share Christ to the Navajo community in New Mexico. This trip will bring you face to face with the Navajo people and allow you to minister to them directly. Your group will have the opportunity to organize and lead a VBS for this community’s children, and share the gospel with them at an early age.

IMPORTANT TRIP INFORMATION
- This is an intensive mission trip with mission-style housing and meals
- All travelers are required to bring their own linens, bedding, towels, toiletries, etc.
- Group will be responsible for organizing their own activities/curriculum, purchasing their materials/snacks, and leading the VBS they designed
- Ministry is unable to accommodate gluten-free diet restrictions, but travelers are welcome to bring their own gluten-free supplies or stop at a store upon arrival.
| 5-DAY TOUR |
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
- Arrive at the airport and meet your JE Tour Director
- Pick up your rental vehicles and depart for your ministry (approximately 2 ½ hr drive)
- Check into your mission-style housing followed by orientation to your week
- Dinner & devotions
DAYS 2-3: MINISTRY
- Breakfast at your ministry lodging
- Spend your time ministering to the Navajo community as you lead a VBS camp for its children
- Additional ministry opportunities may be available such as light construction, food distribution, and more
- Lunch & dinner at your ministry lodging
- Devotions and debrief in the evenings
DAY 4: CHACO CANYON NATIONAL PARK / MINISTRY / NAVAJO CULTURAL EXPERIENCE
- Breakfast at your ministry lodging
- Spend your morning at Chaco Canyon National Park and walk through the ancient ruins of this historical locations
- Lunch
- Additional ministry work this afternoon
- Enjoy an authentic dinner by a Navajo native and learn how to make fry bread and Navajo tacos
DAY 5: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast & devotions
- Additional ministry work if time allows
- Depart for the airport to begin your journey home
ADDITIONAL DAYS
- Ask about adding additional days for more ministry, whitewater rafting, visiting Mesa Verde National Park, and more!

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY

- Check into your mission-style housing followed by orientation to your week
- Learn to make Navajo fry bread for a Navajo taco dinner
- Dinner & devotions
DAYS 2-6: MINISTRY
- Breakfast at your ministry lodging
- Spend your time ministering to the Navajo community as you lead a VBS camp for its children
- Your group will be responsible for assisting & preparing the materials/lessons that will be taught throughout the week (local ministry missionary available to collaborate on activity ideas)
- Lunch & dinner at your ministry lodging
- Options for hiking & exploring in the late afternoons
- Devotions & debrief in the evenings
DAY 7: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast & devotions
- Visit Old Town Albuquerque before heading to the airport (if time allows)
- Depart for the airport to begin your journey home
