Want to help make a life-changing impact for a family in need? On the Missions in Mexico – House Build trip, you can! Your group will have the incredible opportunity to build a permanent home for a family in need in Baja, Mexico. In addition, explore the local area shopping in Ensenada and see the famous La Bufadora marine geyser. These memories will last a lifetime!
ITINERARY
*IMPORTANT TRIP NOTES*
-Group required to bring their passports
-Group required to rent and drive their own vans
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
- Arrive in San Diego & meet your JE Tour Director
- Pick up vans & travel across the border to begin your drive down to Baja, Mexico
- Lunch on your own
- Check into secure ministry housing
- Dinner & devotions
- Orientation for the week
DAY 2: HOUSE BUILD
- Breakfast
- Spend your day building a house for a family in the community
- Lunch at the worksite
- Afternoon working at house build site
- Dinner & devotions on beach
DAY 3: HOUSE BUILD
- Breakfast
- Spend your day building a house for a family in the community
- Lunch at worksite
- Afternoon working at house build site
- Clean up and free time at private beach on ministry property
- Dinner & devotions on beach
DAY 4: HOUSE BUILD
- Breakfast
- Spend your day building a house for a family in the community
- Lunch at worksite
- Afternoon working at house build site
- Clean up & free time at private beach on ministry property
- Dinner & devotions on beach
DAY 5: FINISH HOUSE / CELEBRATION DINNER
- Breakfast
- Finish up any remaining projects at house build
- Present home to the family
- Lunch
- Head to Ensenada for shopping
- Stop at La Bufadora & get sprayed by ocean water shooting through holes in rocks
- Celebration dinner in town
- Devotions
DAY 6: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast
- Clean up at ministry lodgings & say goodbye
- Depart for San Diego airport
