OVERVIEW
On the Explore the Great Southwest tour, spend five days traveling across three states to three of America’s most beautiful National Parks. Your group will have the chance to explore Bryce Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, and one of the seven wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon. This trip is packed with outdoor adventure and beautiful viewpoints of God’s amazing creation.
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY / VALLEY OF FIRE STATE PARK
- Arrive in Las Vegas & meet your JE Tour Director
- Stop at Valley of Fire State Park, the oldest state park in Nevada, with sand dunes that have been shifting for over 150 million years
- Check into your Utah hotel
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 2: ZION NATIONAL PARK
- Breakfast at your hotel
- Depart for Zion National Park and spend your day touring the beautiful Zion National Park
- Enjoy its many hikes, trails, and viewpoints
- Lunch in the park
- Dinner as a group
- Devotions at your hotel
DAY 3: BRYCE CANYON / HORSESHOE BEND
- Breakfast & check out of your hotel
- Depart for Bryce Canyon, home to more hoodoos than any other place on Earth
- Lunch
- Watch the sunset over the Colorado River at Horseshoe Bend
- Check into hotel
- Dinner & devotions
DAY 4: GRAND CANYON
- Breakfast & check out of hotel
- Depart for a day at the Grand Canyon
- Arrive in the Grand Canyon & spend the day exploring trails along the South Rim
- Discuss a Biblical viewpoint of the canyon’s origin
- Break for lunch on your own
- Dinner & check into Flagstaff hotel
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 5: TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast & check out of hotel
- Depart for Phoenix w/ a stop in Sedona (if departure time allows)
- Arrive at airport & depart for home
