EXPLORE LONDON & EDINBURGH | Joshua Expeditions

OVERVIEW

Journey to the United Kingdom for an unforgettable tour of two of it’s most famous cities on the Explore London & Edinburgh experience. Your group will begin your journey in London and see the iconic Big Ben clock tower, catch a glimpse of the crown jewels in the Tower of London, and witness the honorable Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Next, your group will travel north to Scotland where you will catch a glimpse of the Crown Jewels of Scotland at the Edinburgh Castle, journey down the famous Royal Mile, and hike to the top of Arthur’s Seat for an amazing view of this incredible city!

DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY

DAY 2: LONDON

After meeting your JE Tour Director at the airport, you will transfer by coach to your hotel
Introductory London bus tour with a guide
Dinner near Trafalgar Square
Tonight, ride the famous London Eye!

DAY 3: LONDON

Breakfast
Depart via metro
Westminster Abbey guided tour including exterior visit to Buckingham Palace & Changing of the Guard
Lunch
The National Gallery
Shopping in Covent Gardens
Dinner in Leicester Square
Evening view of Piccadilly Circus

DAY 4: LONDON

Breakfast
Depart via metro
Attend a local Church service
Lunch at Borough Market
Tower of London
St. Paul’s Cathedral Evensong
Dinner

DAY 5: DAY TRIP

Breakfast
Depart via metro, then train
Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world
Lunch and time to explore the town
Return to London via train
Dinner

DAY 6: EDINBURGH

Breakfast at hotel & check-out
Coach transfer to train station
Transfer to Edinburgh by train
Afternoon walking tour of Edinburgh
Shopping/explore the Royal Mile
