In partnership with Oklahoma Christian University, Joshua Expeditions is proud to offer a new program to high school student travelers. Exclusively for high school juniors and seniors, JE’s new Dual Credit Program is an opportunity for students to get even more out of their travel experiences around the world. In addition to experiencing new cultures and helping give back to ministries around the world, students can now add on spring or fall term academic courses through Oklahoma Christian University to various JE tours and receive 3-hr college credit. For only $245 added to the trip and insurance price, students can receive even more value from their Joshua Expeditions tour!
Oklahoma Christian University is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission, having been granted Open Pathway Status through HLC (https://www.hlcommision.org/Accreditation/open-overview.html). OC’s academic programs are rigorous, high-quality, personal, and Christ-centered. As a high-quality accredited institution of higher learning, all of OC’s courses are eligible for transfer credits to other high-quality accredited institutions of higher learning. This course helps students to see that it was God’s plan to bless the nations of the world through the culture of the church that is universally adaptable. However, that universal culture needs to be distinguished from particular expressions of what it means to be God’s church within any specific global context, including the student’s own.

Basic Spanish I - Trips to Spanish-Speaking Countries - SPAN 1113
Foundational principles and practice of speaking, understanding, reading, and writing Spanish and an introduction to Spanish culture for those with no background in Spanish.

English Composition I - All Trips - ENGL 1113
The first course in college-level writing using contemporary technology. The course emphasizes the composing process, analytical thinking, various types of writing, basic research methods, and documentation. Writing includes a journal, a personal essay, a research report, analytical essays, and a short research paper sustaining a thesis.
