From supporting local churches to partnering with organizations on the ground, you’ll be part of something bigger on the South Africa Service & Culture tour!
ITINERARY
DAY 1: TRAVEL DAY
DAY 2: ARRIVAL DAY / CAPE TOWN
- After arriving in Cape Town, meet your JE Tour Director at the airport
- Welcome dinner
- Check into hotel
DAY 3: V&A WATERFRONT / GREENMARKET SQUARE / SERVICE PROJECT
- Breakfast
- Morning visit to the V&A Waterfront & Greenmarket Square for shopping
- Lunch
- Afternoon service project
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAYS 4-6: MINISTRY DAYS
- Breakfast
- Spend the day serving the local people through ministry projects
- Ministry projects may include serving at food pantries/soup kitchens/local schools, on community clean-up & beatification projects, church services, and more
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 7: AFRICAN SAFARI
- Breakfast
- Enjoy a classic African safari
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 8: SIMON’S TOWN / CAPE OF GOOD HOPE / PENGUINS
- Breakfast
- Drive to Simon’s Town via Chapman’s Peak drive
- See the Cape of Good Hope (optional hike)
- Lunch
- Afternoon stop to see the famous penguins
- Return to Cape Town
- Dinner
- Devotions at hotel
DAY 9: TABLE MOUNTAIN / ZEITS MUSEUM OF MODERN ART / TRAVEL DAY
- Breakfast & check out of hotel
- Morning visit to Table Mountain via cable car
- Lunch
- Afternoon visit to the Zeits Museum of Modern Art in Africa
- Depart for the airport for a late night flight home**Overnight flight arriving in the States the following day.
